“Dojo” translates from Japanese as the “place of the way”. The Tori gate symbolizes moving from the physical plane into the spiritual part of ourselves. The mist through the Tori gate in our logo symbolizes stepping from the world of illusion onto the path of spiritual enlightenment or Satori.

The Dojo membership is available to Saito Kai Komyo Reiki students to extend their learning, continue their practice and have access to the teachers and other dedicated like minded folk who have chosen the same path.

Saito Kai Reiki Dojo Mission

To offer a ‘place of the way’ that will empower students to discover their Divine purpose and path through the practice of Saito Kai Komyo Reiki. To train Komyo Reiki Ryoho practitioners who have received in-depth training in understanding the energetic field and the practice of Reiki. They will be committed to practicing a path to enlightenment through Reiki that can serve both themselves and others.

 

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a space where a spiritual community can evolve based on Saito Kai Komyo Reiki practice as a path to spiritual enlightenment. This community will allow the growth and evolution of many practitioners who will create their own communities as they grow. We invite you to join us in co-creating this conscious, connected community.

Membership Purpose

The Dojo will offer a place of daily practice and connection where students have access to continued learning and consultation. Teachers will be available for extended training at all levels, with assessments and consultations to ensure the student is learning what is needed before proceeding on to the next degree. In the higher vision, we will eventually expand the number of Komyo Reiki Dojo teachers so that Reiki can be available to everyone, world wide.

 

Member Benefits

As a practitioner and student of Komyo Reiki, The Dojo is available to you for further learning and practice and to deepen your journey on the path to Satori. Through both scheduled and drop in assistance, the membership is designed to give you access not only to The Dojo but to the growing community of practitioners who are members.

Western Reiki training is commonly carried out in a private home and then the students rarely see the teacher until it is time to take the next level. Because The Dojo is open as a full time Komyo Reiki Healing & Meditation Center, students are exposed to ongoing learning and healing opportunities.

Keeping in mind that much of The Dojo time is spent working in groups, when there are several practitioners of different levels at a specific Dojo session, we will have the opportunity to work together and share experiences.

We invite you to take advantage of these additional benefits:

- Attend the two evenings scheduled each month for Reiki Training

- Each month, schedule one extra attunement at The Dojo

- Access consultation with teachers continually as per availability

- Attend any of the open meditations (usually 6 per month scheduled)

- For Chuden (2nd Degree) members, schedule yourself into The Dojo for Reiki practice and include one teacher*

- Schedule yourself into The Dojo for Reiki sessions*

- For Chuden members, attend Komyo Reiki Mawashi each month

Membership Requirements

Membership is a privilege, not a right. Membership is available after Shoden degree. The first month of the membership is a trial period, during which time the member will attend extra Reiki training classes. At the end of the trial period, The Dojo Shinpiden will assess whether student is ready to continue further training.

Contracts or Commitments

Simply put, you are NOT bound to any contract with us - you are here because you want to be and that's how we want it to be. All we ask is that you complete a membership form , commit to paying your fees on time for the term you selected and follow some simple guidelines. Your membership allows you to receive the benefits and contribute your gifts to The Dojo.

While The Dojo is in place to provide you with a centre for training and learning, it is a community of healers and practitioners who gather to work together. In order to create an atmosphere that runs smoothly and with ease, there are some commitments we all make as members of this centre.

Regular Membership Commitments

o It is the responsibility of each student to cooperate in creating an atmosphere of harmony and respect.

o Fees to be paid on time.

o Will practice Reiki one hour every month at The Dojo in order to help your training to continue and grow.

o Assist in the running of The Dojo (this may include the mundane tasks – floors, garbage, dishes, booking appointments, etc).

o Receive regular attunements and meditations with Shinpiden

o Have scheduled times for ‘testing’ or for training assessment for students who wish to move to the next level.

o Attend Extended Reiki Training classes as much as possible (at least one class each three months) for their Degree.

o One Mawashi each quarter is required.

o Chuden to give Reiki to other practitioners or clients at The Dojo with attendance of teacher at least 6 times each year.

o Give Reiki to teacher as part of training.

Extended Saito Kai Reiki Training

Joining SKRD Dojo presents students with many learning opportunities. Beginning with the first class, new members are introduced to the Philosophy that underlies Reiki practice. New students are also introduced to the etiquette and customs of The Dojo. Special care is taken to ensure that new students receive personalized attention as they take their first steps on the path of enlightenment through Reiki. Mastery and continued study is dependent upon a strong foundation, therefore beginners are carefully guided as they begin their path of self healing, learning how to understand their own gifts and relate to the perfection in their life.

Membership Fees

Membership structure is designed to give everyone an opportunity to arrange a fee schedule. The Dojo membership costs $120 for a month when paid on a per month basis. ($1440)

There are, however, plenty of opportunities to lower the cost of your membership:

o 3 month paid membership = $345 ($115 per month)

o 6 month paid membership = $660 ($110 per month)

o 12 month paid membership = $1200 ($100 per month)

Referral Bonus:

If you refer a new member to The Dojo, you will receive a of $20 credit toward a Reiki session at The Dojo. Note - must be an active member to receive this bonus.

*These group discounts apply on the first time plan only. After the term of the original plan, the renewal will be at the regular rate.

*These discounts do not apply for monthly or pay-as-you-go members.

What if I can't come to The Dojo often enough to justify purchasing a full membership?

o There are many who can't justify purchasing a whole Dojo membership. For these people we offer our "PAY AS YOU GO" plan.

o Dojo Pay-as-you-go = $45 per visit. This includes Extended Training sessions, attunements, counsel and rentals.

What if I just can't afford the membership fee?

o It is essential that anyone who wants to practice Reiki is able to do so. The Dojo will work with you to figure out something that will work.

How do I pay my membership?

o We accept Visa, MasterCard, Interac and cash o GST will be added to all fees o Just bring it to The Dojo for the first Thursday of the month!

Can I come and observe The Dojo before I make a commitment?

Absolutely! Just send us an email (info@saitokai.com) to let us know what you are looking for and we’ll set up an appointment.
