A peaceful short drive from Stony Plain, you'll enter a private 12 acre sanctuary surrounded by the boreal forest. Spend some time allowing the natural elements to bring you back to balance. You'll be serenaded by the sparrows and finches, find meditation benches and alcoves to sit along the trails and find yourself refreshed in no time. Add to that a meditation or Reiki appointment and your world can be a lighter space. We are so happy to be spending our summer with Mother Earth. We invite you to call ahead and join us for a bit of a refreshing time spent surrounded by nature.

The songs of the finches, nut hatches and chicadees are quickly joined by the tanagers, orioles and robins. The variety of birds is matched by the array of the lush natural growth in the forest that grows over almost half of the land. From ducks in the yard and geese on the roof of the barn, this property provides a wonderful connection to life in the country.

The Paths

The trails are groomed and mowed, wide enough for two and almost all of them ready for a stroller. Easy to walk, ready for a jog, they run through forest or hay field, and always provide an opportunity to listen for new bird songs. There are three loops at present, one of them up a hill through the hayfield. All can be walked with ease, even by children.

Bliss in the Gazebo

Protected and sheltered from wind, our screened in gazebo provides close contact with the elements of nature without the annoyance of mosquitos. We use this for meditations and Reiki sessions and if the class size suits, we can enjoy full days in the breeze, next to the bird feeders.

Cozy Classroom

A few short steps from the yard is our new cozy classrom. When the weather prevents us from enjoying the gazebo, we can take shelter in this new constructed classroom. Screened in from the buzzing friends and sheltered from the rain, we are still very close to earth and have an amazing view!
